Bankkroller of New Edubiase FC, Abdul Salam Yakubu has tagged Ghana’s 2022 World Cup opponents South Korea as underdogs in Group H saying they are not a football nation.
Ghana is pitted in a tricky group alongside South Korea, Uruguay and Portugal in the mundial to be played in Qatar.
South Korea have appeared in the FIFA World Cup on ten occasions they made their debut appearance in 1954, and appeared consecutively in every edition since 1986.
“South Korea isn’t a football nation” the outspoken football administrator said in an interview with Westgold radio.
“Uruguay has only Suarez and Cavani who are not dangerous like before so we can qualify at their expense.
The black stars will reach the semi-finals in Qatar with the kind of technical handlers we have, Otto Addo,George boateng and Chris Houghton are world class coaches with experience of which we saw how technical good they are in the second half of the friendly ghana played against Brazil . So we hope for the best and wish the black stars the best of luck”
