We have a plan to win 2022 World Cup – Ghana’s Sports Minister –

Minister of Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif revealed that all Black Stars stakeholders have devised a strategy to ensure Ghana win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana, according to the Minister, will live up to their reputation as an African football powerhouse by winning the World Cup later this year.

He made the announcement on Saturday at a press conference in Accra as part of the Coca-Cola FIFA World Cup trophy tour of Ghana.

“As a football powerhouse of Africa, Ghana is hopeful and believing that Insha Allah, come November-December, we will be bringing the trophy back here to Ghana as the champions of the football family,” he said.

“We are very hopeful and we have a plan with the key stakeholders of the sports industry to put our plans together, so we have the belief that Insha Alla in December, the Stars will shine in Qatar”.

Ghana are in Group H, where they will face Portugal on November 24, South Korea on November 28, and Uruguay on December 2.
