Benjamin Tetteh suffers hamstring blow in Hull City defeat

Ghana international Benjamin Tetteh lasted just 14 minutes despite starting for Hull City in Sunday’s 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United in the English Championship.

The 25-year-old sustained an injury and had to make way for Ryan Longman.

Manager Shota Arveladze later revealed Tetteh had to be substituted due to a hamstring problem. The extent of the injury is not yet known.

Prior to the game, Tetteh had played 9 games for Hull City with the last four being 90 minutes.

The injury could rule Benjamin Tetteh out of contention for a place in Ghana’s squad for September international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua in France and Spain respectively.
