Everton target Antoine Semenyo is set to stay at Bristol City beyond the end of the transfer window.
Premier League clubs Everton, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth are all said to be interested in the Ghana international.
Bristol World reported on Wednesday, August 31st, that even if a large offer arrived before the deadline, Bristol City would be unlikely to accept due to a lack of time to find a replacement.
On August 15, the Daily Mail reported that Everton were interested in signing Semenyo for £15 million.
However, the 22-year-old forward will most likely need another season in the Championship before making the move to the Premier League.
Semenyo is a player that the Toffees may look to sign in the future, as the striker fits the profile of a player that Everton needs.
He is still young and could develop into a valuable asset if he is promoted from the Championship to the Premier League.
However, Bristol Live reported that Nigel Pearson is seeking a massive bid of more than £30 million for any of his prized assets, which is absurd for a player who has never played in the Premier League.
Everton supporters should keep an eye on Semenyo’s performance in the Championship this season.
He could be someone the club pursues again in the future.
