Albert Sambi Lokonga has sent a message to his Arsenal teammates after their latest loss.
Arsenal faced off with Southampton this past weekend. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side had just been smashed 6-0 by Chelsea and have little left to play for this term.
As a result, it was expected that Arsenal, even without the services of Alexandre Lacazette, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney, would be able to pick up a win against the Saints.
However, Jan Bednarek fired the hosts into the lead after 44 minutes and that is how the game ended.
Following another subpar display from Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga has sent a message to his teammates, urging them to believe in each other:
“I think all the team is disappointed because of these few weeks, losing three games in a row,” the youngster said following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton. “So we have to believe in each other, and we have to stay together. We have to stick together and we have to keep trusting each other. We have been through this at the start of the season, so we can do it again. “We are all on the same page and we are in this together. We have to look game by game and bounce back.”

Arsenal’s hunt for 4th
Arsenal’s loss to Southampton has once again blown the race for 4th wide open.
The Gunners are in 6th place, three points behind Tottenham with a game in hand after Spurs lost to Brighton on Saturday.
However, after a win over Norwich in gameweek 32, Manchester United are now also firmly back in the Champions League picture.
