On Thursday, Ghana’s Michael Baidoo scored for Elfborg against Molde in the Uefa Conference League.

Michael Baidoo scored for the home team five minutes before halftime. Molde escaped with a scare after the yellow-clad team was only a shot away from making it 2-0 in overtime of the first half.

Only ten minutes into the half, the Moldensians could breathe a sigh of relief after Emil Breivik’s goal restored balance in the score.

Baidoo began his career with the Ghanaian club Vision, and moved to the Danish club Midtjylland in 2018. Baidoo made his professional debut with Midtjylland in a 1-1 Danish Superliga tie with FC Nordsjaelland on 11 March 2018.

Baidoo was called up to a pair of 2015 African U-17 Championship qualification matches for the Ghana U17s, but did not make an appearance.  He is a 2-time international for the Ghana U20s.
