Ghana defender Kassim Nuhu has joined Swiss Super League side FC Basel on a season long loan from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
The 27-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the German side, sought a move away to Switzerland to revive his career.
He made three appearances in the Bundesliga for Hoffenheim last season – starting none of the games.
Kassim joined them from Young Boys in 2017 on a five-year-deal which runs out in 2023.
