This is one of the big moves of this transfer window in Ligue 1. Impressive with RC Lens last year, the young Cheick Doucouré gave in to the English sirens this summer. Against a check for more than 20 million euros, the Malian international leaves the north of France to join the Premier League and now evolve under the orders of Crystal Palace next year. While everything seemed to be going well for the midfielder, we learned today through the voice of his lawyer that he and his family would be victims of blackmail and an extortion attempt. The press release, relayed by the journalist RMC Sports Loic Tanzi, explains that three individuals (an agent, a photographer and a journalist) would claim to have proof of the double identity of the player and that they would demand a sum of money for their silence.
