English giants, Manchester City have completed the signing of Ghanaian young defender, Henry Oware from WAFA.

The reigning champions will pay an amount of €1M (£840,00) for the highly-rated youngster.

The 18-year-old signed a two-year contract with City and will spend the 2022/23 season with French Ligue 1 club, Troyes.

This is because Oware is not eligible to play in England due to strict points system for overseas players imposed by the FA.

Owusu was scouted by City two years ago when the WAFA youth team travelled to Austria for pre-season.

He made 21 appearances in this year’s Ghana Premier League for the Sogakope side – albeit they were relegated.
