Jose Mourinho’s side have struggled to beat the Norwegian club, losing twice from their opening three meetings.
Tammy Abraham’s fifth-minute goal set them on the path to victory at a fully-packed Stadio Olimpico, before Nicolo Zaniolo’s stunning hat-trick.
Leicester City also rallied from behind to beat PSV 2-1 on the night to advance to the last four and book a date with Mourinho’s side.
