Hearts of Oak set to complete the signing of Cameroonian forward Junior Kaaba

Hearts of Oak are on the verge of to completing the signing of Cameroonian forward Junior Kaaba ahead of the 2022/23 season.

The Phobians reached an agreement with Fauvre Azur Elite FC over the transfer of the highly-rated attacker as he has been called for medical examination in Accra.

The player is understood to be relishing the challenge of playing in the GPL after a successful campaign by his compatriots, George Mfegue and Mbella Etouga for rivals Asante Kotoko.

He is expected to arrive in Ghana in the coming days to complete his medical examination before putting pen to paper to seal his move to the Ghana premier league.

Kaaba scored 7 goals in the first round of Cameroon Elite one championship which started in March.

The Cameroonian International ended the 2021-22 season by scoring 11 goals and provided five assists in the process for Fauvre Azur.

Kaaba has been invited to the Cameroonian CHAN team’s final 25 man squad by head coach Rigobert Song ahead of the qualifiers.

Hearts of Oak will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign and want to boost their squad ahead of the competition.
