Minamino: I’ll never forget Liverpool support 

New AC Milan signing Takumi Minano has bid farewell to his former club Liverpool. 

Minamino completed his move to AC Milan from Liverpool on Tuesday for a reported fee of 15.5m. On leaving the Reds, Minamino took it to the social media to bid farewell to Liverpool fans.

“Dearest LFC supports, I was so happy when I joined the LFC family two and a half years ago, but my time has come to an end,” he wrote. 

“I had a fantastic time, and I will never forget the massive support I received from you all at Anfield. I wish you all the best.

“Sayonara, goodbye. YNWA. Taki.”

Minamino made 55 appearances in total for the Reds, scoring 14 goals.

The 27-year-old leaves Anfield having won the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
