Liga 2 clubs show interest in midfielder Lawrence Ofori

Lawrence Ofori, who was loaned to Israeli club Ashdod during the winter transfer window, is attracting a lot of interest from Liga 2 clubs.

He made 10 appearances for Famalicao and provided one assist in the first half of the 2021/22 season.

Ofori joined the Famalicense club in 2019/20 season, having played only four matches.

Last season he moved to FC Arouca on loan for more playing time.

He played a key role for the club, featuring in 30 matches and netting one goal in the process.

The former West African Football Academy midfielder made eleven appearances for Ashdod in the Israeli league.

The Ghanaian midfielder has a contract with Famalicao until June 2024, it is almost certain that he will not be in the squad this summer.
