The minister was accompanied by Deputy Agriculture Minister John Dumelo, the ministry’s Chief Director and its budget officer.
Opoku said the team required both financial and motivational support before the competition, while urging the players to represent Ghana well and make the country proud.
The latest contribution follows a GH¢100,000 donation from dancehall artiste Stonebwoy. Together, the two donations have raised GH¢150,000 for the Black Challenge.
Ghana have been drawn in Group D for the tournament, where they will play Angola, Colombia and Iraq.
The 2026 World Amputee Football World Cup will take place from November 13–22 in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico. A total of 24 national teams are expected to compete.
