Hearts of Oak midfielder Dominic Nsobila will miss the club’s upcoming Ghana Premier League fixture against Basake Holy Stars after suffering an injury in the Phobians’ previous match.
Nsobila was hurt during Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 away win over Vision FC, a result secured by Kwesi Asmah’s late goal. The midfielder’s injury means he will not be available for the next league game.
The combative midfielder has made a strong impression since joining Hearts of Oak in the summer. His absence is therefore a significant setback for head coach Nebojsa Kapor as the club looks to build on its victory and find greater consistency in the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts of Oak will face Basake Holy Stars at the University of Ghana Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00GMT (5:00pm).
