Ghanaian midfielder Derrick Mensah has rejoined Czech Republican side Banik Ostrava after the end of the Christmas and New Year break.

The 19-year-old ex-Ghana U20 midfielder left the shores of Ghana on Saturday and touched down on the soils of the central European country on Sunday.

Mensah has already commenced training with the rest of his team-mates; including his former Ghana U20 and Tema Youth team-mate Francis Narh who also plays at the same club.

“Back to work, Jah will never leave us astray,” he updated his Facebook status with his picture.

Mensah has played 14 times in a possible 16 games, starting all 14 but completing 10.

He has been linked with a move to German Bundesliga side Freiburg in this winter’s transfer.
