Administrative manager at Bibiani Gold Stars Joseph Oti Manu has urged the Ghana Football Association to include striker Samuel Attah Kumi in the Black Stars squad.
Ghana will compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia.
Kumi has scored 11 goals in 23 matches and helping Bibiani Gold Stars sit second, just behind Medeama SC.
“I believe Sammy (Samuel Attah Kumi) is a very good player,” he told CitiSports.
“11 goals in 23 matches he’s played for Bibiani Gold Stars this season. I think it is the right call (for him to be included in the Black Stars)…his form has been impressive for this season because whether home or away, he scores very well.
“I think the GFA (Ghana Football Association) should consider very well to make him part of the (Black Stars) team that will travel to Germany and Austria to play these friendly games to really assess him very well prior to the World Cup,” he added.
Otto Addo and Black Stars technical team are expected to name the squad for this Month’s international friendlies in the coming weeks.
