FC AshantiGold SC have named trainer Abdul Karim Zito as their new head coach.
The former Dreams FC and Asante Kotoko boss joins the club as they push for promotion to the top flight.
Zito is widely respected for his tactical discipline and ability to nurture young players.
His arrival is expected to strengthen the club’s technical structure and guide the team’s long-term ambitions.
The club confirmed the appointment in a statement welcoming the veteran coach to camp.
“Coach Karim Zito is in our camp. He has joined the technical team. His experience. His discipline. His winning mindset. This adds strength to our bench and belief to our squad. Welcome to FC Ashantigold, Coach. Let’s get to work,” the club wrote.
AshantiGold are aiming to improve results in the ongoing Division One League season.
Zito recently stepped down from Kotoko after managing just one win in six matches.
