Berekum Chelsea coach Samuel Boadu hailed his team’s resilience after securing a 0-0 draw against Accra Hearts of Oak.
“We came here with the intention to win, but taking a point against a top side like Hearts of Oak is a positive result for us,” Boadu said in his post match presser.
The match, played at the Legon Stadium, saw Berekum Chelsea put up a strong defensive display to hold Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw.
Boadu praised his team’s efforts, emphasizing that the point was a valuable one.
“It was a tough game, but we worked hard for this result. Our focus now shifts to the next match,” he added.
The draw sees Berekum Chelsea move up to 27 points – a point above the relegation zone while Hearts of Oak sit five points adrift of league leaders Medeama.
