Medeama SC’s Salim Adams, who is in the news for a Ghana call up, has been crowned the NASCO Player of the Month for January, beating off competition from Jon Antwi of Dreams FC and Christian Agyenim Boateng of FC Samartex 1996.
Adams’ impressive performances, which included three goals and two Man of the Match awards, earned him the top spot.
He received a 43-inch NASCO television set and a NASCO double-door refrigerator as part of his reward.
Adams has been in top form for Medeama, scoring five goals in 19 league matches this season.
His consistency and leadership have been vital for Medeama’s push for the league title. Coach Ibrahim Tanko has backed Adams for a Black Stars call-up, saying “Salim is doing well and scoring fantastic goals. With the Black Stars technical team closely monitoring the league, I’m sure he will get his oopportuniy.”
