Kumasi Mayor, Richard Ofori, has promised Asante Kotoko players a cash incentive ahead of their Super Clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

He urged the team to score at least 3 or 4 goals, promising a significant reward on Monday.

According to reports, the Mayor had previously pledged $200 for every goal scored against Hearts, with a total of $1,000 if they net five goals.

Speaking at the team’s training grounds, Ofori emphasized the importance of making the Ashanti Region proud.

“We want more goals from you guys —score 3 or 4 goals and we will give you a lot of money💰on Monday,” he said.

Ashanti Regional Minister Frank Amoakohene also expressed confidence in the team’s ability to beat their arch-rivals.

The match is expected to draw a large crowd.

The stage is set for an electrifying showdown between Ghana’s two most decorated clubs on Sunday.
