The Ghana Premier League has continued to deliver compelling numbers after the completion of Matchday 19, with statistics highlighting the strong influence of home advantage across the competition.

A total of 171 matches have been played so far this season. From those fixtures, home teams have recorded 95 victories, compared to just 24 away wins, while 52 matches have ended in draws, underlining how difficult it has been for teams to pick up points on the road.

Goals have also flowed steadily, with 316 goals scored across the league. Home sides have contributed 215 goals, more than double the 101 goals registered by away teams, further emphasizing the dominance of teams playing on familiar turf.

In terms of penalties awarded, Karela United, Bibiani Gold Stars and FC Samartex sit at the top of the chart, having each been awarded four penalties, the joint-highest in the league so far.

Goalkeepers have also played a key role this season, with Zakari Musah emerging as the standout performer on the clean sheets chart. He leads the league with 11 clean sheets, the most after 19 matchdays.

He is followed closely by Lawrence Osei (Heart of Lions), Felix Kyei (Medeama SC) and Mohammed Camara (Asante Kotoko), who have each kept nine clean sheets. Emmanuel Kobi of Bibiani Gold Stars is next on the list with eight clean sheets to his name.

As the league approaches the second half of the season, these statistics underline the competitive balance, the importance of home form, and the growing influence of goalkeepers in shaping results across the Ghana Premier League.
