The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has lifted the temporary ban placed on Kukurantumi Ohene Park, the home venue of Port City FC, following investigations into crowd disturbances during their Division One League match against True Democracy on January 4, 2026.

Despite reopening the venue, the Committee found Port City FC guilty of inappropriate conduct by their supporters, ruling that the club breached Articles 16(2)(f) and 16(2)(h) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019.

As a result, Port City FC have been fined GHS10,000, with the club given 14 days to pay the fine.

The Zone Three side has also been formally cautioned, with the GFA warning that any future misconduct by supporters will attract more severe sanctions.

Kukurantumi Ohene Park had earlier been placed under an indefinite temporary ban by the FA Executive Council after violent scenes marred the January 4 fixture in Kukurantumi.
