Ghana’s target for the 2026 World Cup is to qualify from the group stage and be competitive, according to GFA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum.
Speaking on Akoma 87.9 FM, Twum expressed confidence in the team’s quality, stating that they want to fight and believe they can equal their quarter-final appearance in 2010 and possibly go further.
“We want to fight, we have the quality, and we believe we can equal our quarter-final appearance and possibly do even better,” Twum said, highlighting the team’s ambition for the tournament.
Ghana is placed in Group L of the World Cup with England, Panama and Croatia.
