Spain, the European Champions, are set to face Egypt, the record holders of the Africa Cup of Nations, in an international friendly match on March 30 in Qatar.
This match is part of Spain’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The match will be played at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 PM Spanish time (7:00 PM Egyptian time).
This will be the second meeting between the two teams, with Spain winning the first encounter 2-0 in 2006.
Egypt, currently in the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, will look to get a win over Spain as they prepare for the World Cup. Spain’s coach, Luis de la Fuente, will use this match to test his team and prepare for the World Cup.
