FC Nordsjaelland have signaled growing confidence in Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Jnr by assigning him the club’s famous No.10 shirt ahead of the second phase of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 18-year-old will make the switch from his previous No.22 starting February 8, 2025, a move often reserved for players viewed as future leaders of the team.
Amoako Jnr now joins a familiar Ghanaian lineage at the Danish club, following in the footsteps of Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah and Kamaldeen Sulemana.
The No.10 shirt at Nordsjaelland is steeped in tradition and has previously been worn by talents such as Mathias Jensen, Mohamed Diomandé and Benjamin Nygren, all of whom progressed to higher levels in Europe.
Amoako Jnr’s elevation reflects a strong debut professional season in which he has featured 20 times in all competitions.
During that run, the attacking midfielder has contributed six goals and five assists, underlining his attacking influence despite his young age.
