US-Ghanaian forward Patrick Agyemang has earned a spot in the English Championship Team of the Week following his standout performance for Derby County.
The 25-year-old striker scored twice against Sheffield Wednesday, finding the net on either side of halftime to help Derby secure a 3-0 victory. These goals mark his fourth and fifth of the season, underlining his growing influence at Pride Park.
Agyemang joins a strong lineup in the Team of the Week alongside Oxford duo Claron Brown and Brian de Keersmaecker, Preston’s Jordan Storey, Coventry goalkeeper Carl Rushworth, and attackers Ephron Mason-Clark, Jovon Makama, and Bobby De Cordova-Reid. The eleven is rounded out by Hull’s Mohammed Belloumi, West Brom’s Callum Styles, and Portsmouth’s Terry Devlin.
The forward now has his sights set on representing the United States at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hoping to secure a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s final squad.
