Black Galaxies coach Kasim Mingle has praised his team’s performance despite suffering a narrow defeat to South Africa in a pre-AFCON warm-up game, played on Tuesday.
A second half strike from South Africa’s Sipho Mbule was the difference at the end of the game.
“It was a very good performance from my boys. We had just three weeks in camp, yet they put up a strong display, and I’m very happy with them,” Mingle said in his post match presser.
The Black Galaxies coach expressed satisfaction with his team’s efforts, highlighting their resilience and determination.
“This is a new team we are building, it was hard luck, we deserved to equalize. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance.”
Mingle’s positive tone reflects the team’s potential, despite missing out on AFCON 2025.
The Black Galaxies will look to build on this performance as they prepare for their upcoming CHAN qualifiers.
Mingle’s enthusiasm is a sign of a bright future for Ghanaian football, as the team looks to regroup and come back stronger.
