Asante Kotoko head coach Abdoul Karim Zito has admitted his side lacked discipline after a 1–0 defeat to Hohoe United in the Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko suffered their fourth straight winless game at the Hohoe Sports Stadium, where a first-half free-kick goal condemned them to yet another frustrating afternoon.
Zito was particularly unhappy with his team’s opening-half display, blaming tactical indiscipline for the poor performance.
“I’m disappointed with our first-half performance. We were tactically indisciplined,” he said after the match.
The loss leaves Kotoko fifth in the league table with 21 points, now five points behind leaders Medeama.
The Porcupine Warriors will look to end their barren run next weekend when they host Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
