Liverpool star Mo Salah has expressed his frustration and disappointment with Liverpool’s recent actions.
The Egyptian forward feels he shouldn’t be fighting for his position, citing his past contributions to the club.
“It’s not acceptable for me. I don’t know why this is happening for me. I don’t get it,” Salah told tv2 Sport. “I have done so much for this club. I don’t have to go everyday fighting for my position because I earned it.”
Salah’s comments come as Liverpool have struggled for consistency, with the Reds drawing their last two matches and Salh being dropped to the bench and not starting any of Liverpool’s last three games.
The 31-year-old had been instrumental in Liverpool’s success, scoring 21 goals in 38 appearances last season.
Salah is set to join Egypt for the AFCON on December 15, with his future in doubt. Salah signed a contract extension last term but might have to leave the club in January.
