Bibiani Goldstars defender Kelvin Oppong is determined to lift spirits in the community as the team prepares for their Week 11 Ghana Premier League clash against Nations FC.
The defender expressed his commitment to delivering a performance that will bring smiles to supporters, emphasizing the pride of representing the Bibiani community.
“We won’t promise them anything big; we are promising that we won’t let them be sad. We will make them happy just like we did last season,” Oppong told Bibiani Goldstars TV.
“This season, this match, they should watch it; we will make them happy.”
Goldstars have collected 19 points so far this season and kept three clean sheets in their last five games.
Despite recent progress, the team has not managed a win on the road in their last four away fixtures.
Both previous meetings at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex ended in draws.
