Ghana’s U15 Boys and Girls teams now know their challengers for the 2025 WAFU B Zonal Qualifiers following Friday’s draw at WAFU-B headquarters in Abidjan.
The U15 Boys were drawn into Group A, where they will face hosts Burkina Faso and Niger in a tight three-team contest.
Meanwhile, the U15 Girls join Group B alongside Benin and Niger as they aim to replicate past success.
The African Schools Championship, organised by CAF, continues to serve as a critical platform for unearthing and nurturing young football talent across West Africa.
Ghana heads into this year’s qualifiers with confidence after strong performances in the previous edition.
The Girls’ squad made history by winning the championship at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, dominating from zonal competitions to the continental finals.
The Boys’ team also impressed, securing a third-place finish after a series of competitive displays.
Both squads will now focus on preparation and training ahead of their first group matches.
