Eleven Wonders players have reportedly decided to boycott their Ghana Premier League (GPL) game against Hohoe United on Sunday due to unpaid salaries.
The players held a meeting and collectively agreed not to participate in the match until their outstanding wages are settled.
This isn’t the first time Eleven Wonders players have taken such action; they’ve previously boycotted training and matches over unpaid salaries.
The club currently sit bottom on the league table, and a win against Hohoe United would be a big respite.
The GPL game against Hohoe United is scheduled to take place on Sunday, and it’s unclear how this development will affect the match’s outcome.
Wonders have not been helped with news about the reported resignation of head coach J.E Sarpong, who succeeded already resigned Odartey Lamptey.
