English-Ghanaian star Fuse ODG has been announced as one of the headline performers for the 2025 CAF Awards, becoming the first Ghanaian musician since Shatta Wale in 2015 to grace the stage at Africa’s premier football awards gala.
Fuse ODG born Richard Nana Abiona will perform alongside Congolese legend Awilo Longomba and fast-rising Moroccan singer Douaa Lahyaoui at the ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 18:00 GMT in Rabat.
The British-Ghanaian artist, famed for pioneering the global Azonto wave before transitioning fully into Afrobeats, boasts hit singles such as Antenna and Dangerous Love, as well as collaborations with international icons including Wyclef Jean and Ed Sheeran.
Ghana also earned several nominations at the awards. The Black Queens are shortlisted for the Women’s Team of the Year, while head coach Kim Lars Björkegren is in contention for Women’s Coach of the Year.
