Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has made it clear that Ghana international Brandon Thomas-Asante is not for sale despite strong transfer interest ahead of the January window.
The in-form forward has been one of the Championship’s brightest stars this season, netting 10 goals in 15 appearances to lead the scoring charts. His clinical form has been central to Coventry’s promotion push and has reportedly caught the attention of Leeds United, who are eyeing reinforcements for the second half of the campaign.
Thomas-Asante, however, remains under contract until 2028, a deal that gives Coventry firm control over his future. Lampard, fully aware of the striker’s importance, insists the club have no plans to sanction a move.
The 26-year-old’s exploits have also earned him recognition at international level, with a likely call-up for Ghana’s upcoming friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
