Aduana FC head coach Aristica Cioaba says his side should have taken all three points after their 0-0 draw with Medeama SC in Saturday’s Week 9 Ghana Premier League fixture at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.
Despite the evenly matched contest, Cioaba believes Aduana created more clear-cut chances and were unlucky not to score.
“The game ended 0-0, but I think if you look at the game, Aduana had more opportunities to score,” he said after the match. “Medeama may have had one or two chances in the 90 minutes. But it was good football — both teams tried to play and attack.”
Cioaba praised his players for their effort and style of play, stressing that continued hard work would bring results in upcoming fixtures.
“It was possible to win the game, but it ended in a draw. Our performance was good, so let’s continue working hard to improve,” he added.
The result keeps Aduana FC temporarily at the top of the league table, while Medeama SC stay second, awaiting the outcome of Sunday’s matches.
