Ghanaian forward Douglas Owusu continued his fine form in the Serbian Superliga, scoring the only goal that handed FK Radnik Surdulica a 1–0 victory over OFK Beograd on Saturday.
The 19-year-old held his nerve from the penalty spot in the 66th minute at the EFBET Stadion, ensuring Radnik secured all three points in their push to stay in the top flight.
It was Owusu’s fourth goal of the campaign as he continues to become a key member for his side.
Owusu’s consistent performances have begun to attract serious attention across Europe.
Reports indicate that Swiss champions BSC Young Boys, Norway’s FK Bodø/Glimt, and Ukrainian outfit Metalist 1925 Kharkiv are among the clubs monitoring his progress closely.
Sources further suggest that Metalist have already made an official offer, but Radnik are holding out for what could be a record transfer fee for the club.
