?Revealed: Liverpool Player of the Season

Mohamed Salah has been voted Liverpool’s 2021/22 Player of the Season.

The Egyptian won the award after garnering the highest number of votes from the fans, as well as Forever Reds, the club’s official former players association.

Salah had a hugely impressive season, scoring 31 goals and delivering 15 assists in all competitions, winning the award for the second season running.

Among the 31 goals scored, 23 were in the Premier League, which saw him win the Golden Boot alongside Tottenham’s Heung-min Son.

He also finished top of the assists charts ahead of teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Salah reached the 30-goal mark in a season for the third time in his Anfield career, becoming just the fourth player in the club’s history to achieve the feat.

He also climbed up to outright ninth place on Liverpool’s all-time top goalscorers list, with his overall tally currently standing at 156 goals from 254 appearances.
