Great Olympics General Manager, Eric Alagidede, has admitted his side faces a stern test in the upcoming Division One League but insists the Dade Boys are ready to fight for promotion.

Speaking after their narrow defeat to Hearts of Oak in the 2025 Democracy Cup, Alagidede acknowledged the fierce competition in Zone Three.

“Zone Three has always been difficult and we know the task ahead. All the teams in this zone are very good, so it’s always going to be tough,” he told reporters.

Despite the daunting challenge, Alagidede reminded rivals of Olympics’ pedigree and resilience.

“We are an old club and whenever you’re coming up against us, you have to be exceptional,” he said.

Olympics, relegated from the Ghana Premier League last season, are seeking an immediate return to the top flight. Their spirited display against Premier League giants Hearts has boosted belief within the camp ahead of the new campaign.
