The group stage pairings for the 2025 Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship have been unveiled, setting the stage for a week of thrilling youth football action from August 25 to 31 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

Defending champions Volta Region headline Group A, where they face Greater Accra, Northern, Upper East, Western, and the Kumasi-based GFA Elite U15 Academy, which operates from Prempeh College and combines football training with formal education.

Group B promises equal excitement as last season’s finalists Ashanti Region prepare to clash with Brong Ahafo, Central, Upper West, Eastern, and the second GFA Elite U15 Academy located in Winkongo, Bolgatanga.

This year’s edition is historic, marking the first time the GFA’s two Elite Academies are taking part in the championship.

Their inclusion adds a fresh layer of competitiveness as they bring together some of the most promising young footballers undergoing structured development in both academics and sport.

With Volta eager to defend their crown, Ashanti seeking redemption, and the academies out to make an impact on debut, the 2025 tournament promises drama, skill, and the emergence of future stars for Ghana football.

The Elite U15 Boys Colts Championship continues to highlight the Ghana Football Association’s commitment to grassroots development, strengthening the foundation for the national teams of tomorrow.
