Morocco booked their spot with a 3-1 win over Mali, thanks to Ibtissam Jraidi’s brace and a late strike from Ghizlane Chebbak.
The hosts will face Ghana, who edged Algeria 4-2 in a penalty shootout after the match ended goalless in regulation and extra time. Goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan was the hero for Ghana, making two crucial saves during the shootout.
In the other semi-final, Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on the winner of the South Africa vs Senegal match. The Super Falcons thrashed Zambia 5-0, showcasing their dominance and defensive strength. With this win, Nigeria remains unbeaten and yet to concede a goal in the tournament.
