Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has refused to be drawn into speculation linking Ghana international Mohammed Kudus with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to reporters, Maresca acknowledged his awareness of Kudus’ talent but remained respectful of the player’s current club.
“He’s a West Ham player so I can’t say nothing… the only thing I can say is I know Kudus since Ajax,” the Chelsea boss said.
The Blues are reportedly one of two Premier League clubs showing concrete interest in Kudus this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping a close eye on the 24-year-old, who impressed in his debut season at West Ham following a move from Ajax.
West Ham are open to selling Kudus for the right price, with reports suggesting the Ghanaian could be available for around £85 million.
