Ghana and West Ham Star Mohammed Kudus was honoured with a Zongo heroes accolade at the Bazaki Football tournament.
The maiden edition of the Bazaki Football Tournament, a competition organised by Kudus and Skechers to unearth talent in Nima, saw teams battle out for the ultimate trophy in competitive spirits.
At the end of the event, Academy XI were crowned champions after beating Legon All Stars on penalties.
However, a major highlight on the day, Sunday June 29, was Mohammed Kudus being handed a Zongo heroes award in recognition of his selfless and humanitarian works to give back to society.
Additionally, the presentation of the award to Kudus is a result of the able representation of the Zongo community globally, shining a light for all Zongo communities.
Notable recipients of the award in the past include Chief Imam Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, Abdul Razak (Golden boy), and Mohammed Polo.
