Baba Yara will be ready for Kotoko’s CAF campaign – NSA Assures

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has assured fans that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be ready to host Asante Kotoko’s matches in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.

With the domestic league season concluded, the NSA has initiated a maintenance plan to ensure the stadium meets CAF standards ahead of inspection.

Speaking on Akoma 87.9 FM, NSA Kumasi PRO Patience Mensah said, “We can’t afford for Kotoko to play its games outside of Kumasi, so we’re working nonstop to make sure the stadium is certified whenever CAF comes for inspection.”

She added, “We promise the people of Kumasi that the NSA is trustworthy and will make every effort for Kotoko to play their Confederation Cup matches at Baba Yara.”
