Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp has received an FA Cup winner’s medal following Crystal Palace’s historic victory over Manchester City despite spending the second half of the season on loan at Celtic.
Schlupp made a single appearance in this season’s FA Cup, featuring in Palace’s third-round win over Stockport County before making a temporary switch to Scotland, where he helped Celtic secure the Scottish Premiership title.
The 31-year-old added another honour to his career achievements and celebrated the medal on Instagram after Palace secured their first-ever major trophy.
The Eagles stunned Manchester City 1-0 in Saturday’s final, with Eberechi Eze scoring the decisive goal in the 16th minute from a Daniel Muñoz cross.
City were handed a lifeline late in the match, but Omar Marmoush failed to convert a penalty, sealing the win for Palace.
