Ghana U-20 head coach Desmond Ofei has described their upcoming quarter-final encounter against hosts Egypt as a make-or-break fixture in their quest for a place at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Black Satellites are aiming to end a decade-long absence from the global stage, having last featured in the tournament in 2015.
Confidence in the camp is high, with the team still unbeaten in the competition after securing two wins and a draw in the group phase.
“Tomorrow’s game is a final,” Desmond told the press.
“It is a golden ticket everybody wants this ticket and I’m sure the hosts nation will do everything in their ability to win the game but all in all, we have to show that we are the better team.”
The match comes off on Monday, May 11 at 15:00 GMT
