Ghana Premier League defending champions FC Samartex have announced the signing of midfielder Awuah Dramani from Berekum Chelsea.
Awuah signed a long-term contract with the Timbers, which will keep him at the Nsenkyire Arena for the next three seasons.
The Timbers are strengthening their squad as they prepare for the second round of the Ghana Premier League competition.
“We have reached an agreement with Berekum Chelsea for the transfer of their player, Awuah Dramani. Dramani has signed a long-term contract with us, keeping him at Samartex for at least three seasons. Welcome to the Timber family,” the club stated in a release on social media.
Awuah joined Berekum Chelsea from Nsoatreman FC in 2022 and has consistently delivered impressive performances on the field, proving to be an excellent player in midfield for the Blues.
The 23-year-old midfielder is expected to maintain his fine form to help the defending champions turn their season around.
