Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana bagged an assist in Southampton’s 3-2 win against Stoke City on Tuesday in the EFL Cup competition.

Sulemana’s 81st-minute introduction brought a fresh wave of energy to the pitch, culminating in a crucial assist to James Bree for the winning goal.

The match was a nail-biter, with Southampton taking an early lead courtesy of Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Adam Armstrong.

However, Stoke City refused to back down, levelling the score at 2-2.

As the game seemed destined for a draw, Sulemana’s introduction changed the tide.

His assist to Bree in the 88th minute secured the win for Southampton, keeping their EFL Cup campaign alive.

Sulemana has played three games in the ongoing campaign with one assist to his credit.
