Alhaji Karim Grusah, bankroller of King Faisal, has supported Kudjoe Fianoo’s call for the resignation of Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku.

Fianoo, who is the chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association, made his remarks following the Black Stars’ disappointing performance in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.

He highlighted that under Okraku’s leadership, the national team has failed to demonstrate significant improvement, experiencing back-to-back group stage exits in the 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Grusah defended Fianoo’s comments, describing Okraku as an autocratic leader.

“I support what Fianoo said, and if anyone at Ghalca threatens him, they will hear from me,” he said.

“Kurt Okraku is an autocratic leader who does not allow other members of the EXCO to speak. He simply came to sell his players, not to grow the game.” he added
