CMS Training Concludes in the Ashanti Region

The Competitions Management System (CMS) training in the Ashanti Region has officially come to a close. The exercise ended on Monday October 7, 2024 after a 3-day intensive delivery.

The training, which took place at the Kumasi Anglican Senior high School, was aimed at equipping key stakeholders in football management with the necessary skills to navigate the upgraded CMS platform effectively.

The training sessions were facilitated by the IT Department of the association led by Francis Adu Essah and included IT officers from the Ashanti Regional Football Association (RFA), Second Division club representatives, referees, and match commissioners.

Participants were taken through various aspects of the system, including navigating new upgrades, tracking cautions and expulsions, and managing key statistics for players and officials.

This initiative is expected to improve the efficiency of competition management across all levels in the region.

The CMS training is part of the broader efforts of the GFA to enhance the quality and professionalism of football administration in the country.
